Short Breaks in Cornwall

It depends on the cottage and your dates. Some homes accept two nights, while others require three, four or a full week for a particular arrival. A two-night weekend gives you one full day between arrival and departure; three nights gives you two, and four nights gives you three.

For a weekend, try Friday to Monday for three nights; for a midweek stay, try Monday to Friday for four. These are planning examples, not fixed changeover rules. Choose 3 or 4 nights in the search, or use “Other” to select 2 nights, then enter your arrival date. If nothing matches, try another arrival or a longer stay.

Use your arrival date, number of nights and party size to narrow the cottages shown. Open a matching property and follow its booking or enquiry option to confirm the stay. A weekly “from” price is a guide to a week’s accommodation; it is not a quote for your shorter visit. Check the total for your exact dates and any applicable extras before booking.

Availability can change, and minimum stays can differ even between dates at the same cottage. If you need a particular arrival day or two-night stay that is not offered online, enquire about that property before making travel plans.

Choose a base near the places you most want to visit, rather than spending a short stay crossing the county. For a north-coast beach base, compare Bude cottages, including Halekulani for up to eight. Start with dates that work for you and check the cottages available for that stay. School holidays, weekends and quieter periods can have different arrival and minimum-stay requirements; being outside peak season does not guarantee a shorter stay or a lower total price.
