Tradition meets contemporary comforts at Vitamyn Sea. Just moments from St Ives’s stunning harbour, you’re situated a five to ten-minute walk from the gorgeous Porthmeor beach with Porthminster beach closer still. Guests are certainly well placed At Vitamyn Sea for a Cornish adventure.

After undergoing a stylish yet sympathetic renovation in 2020, this welcoming townhouse has four bedrooms, sleeping eight. Guests can expect high-end splendour with Vitamyn Sea’s tasteful furnishings and contemporary seaside-inspired decor, which creates the perfect Cornish holiday setting. Split over four floors, this property is flooded with St Ives’ gorgeous natural light.

On the first floor, you’ll find the dining area with a large table, comfortably seating eight. The contemporary Scandi-style kitchen is finished to a high standard and fully equipped for all your cooking desires. Complete with an integrated dishwasher, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave and induction hob. Coffee lovers will also appreciate the Nespresso coffee machine. On this floor, there’s also a kids’ bedroom, with bunk beds.

Down on the ground floor is another bedroom with a zip and link bed, which can be in a twin or king-size set up. There are generous built-in wardrobes and a wall-mounted TV. Opposite the bedroom is a shower room with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. On this level, you can also access a quaint courtyard area which has some built-in benches and a table, a wonderful space to relax. The courtyard also benefits from a hanging rail for wetsuits and an outside shower – the perfect post-beach wash-off spot. Practicality hasn’t been overlooked at Vitamyn Sea as there’s also a utility area complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cupboard for all of your holidaying needs.

Moving upstairs from the kitchen and dining room will take you to a further two double bedrooms and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. One of the double bedrooms features wall-to-wall built-in wardrobes and a dressing table, and both boast wall-mounted TVs. The double bedroom to the rear also boasts a sea view over St Ives’s pretty roofs.

The top floor has a truly spoiling landscape view overlooking St Ives charming harbour, out to the Atlantic Ocean. There are two sizeable plush sofas to sink into and a large Smart TV and sound system to enjoy if you ever tire of the exceptional outlook. There’s also a desk and chair for an office with a view, plus a relaxing reading chair with stunning views out to the lighthouse.

The Stennack public car park is less than a two-minute walk away from Vitamyn Sea, or alternatively, guests can use the property’s free allocated parking situated at St Ives Rugby Club (read here for more on St Ives Parking). A charming yet contemporary townhouse just 300 metres from the beach, Vitamyn Sea is a fabulous choice for your Cornish holiday.



Ground floor

  • Access to courtyard area which has some built in benches and a table. There’s external lighting and a hanging rail for wetsuits, plus an outside shower.
  • Utility area complete with washing machine and tumble drier. The drying cupboard is located in the middle cupboard of the utility area. Next to this you’ll find an iron, ironing board, wash basket and airing rack. There is also a vacuum.
  • Guests will find a hairdryer in every bedroom.

First floor

  • Dining area with a big table, comfortably seating eight and large wall-mounted smartTV.
  • Fully-equipped modern kitchen complete with an integrated dishwasher, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave and induction hob.There’s a Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster and a Nutribullet, too.
  • Kids’ bedroom with bunk beds, hanging hooks and large chest of drawers.

Second floor

  • Bedroom with double bed, wall to wall built-in wardrobes, a dressing table and wall-mounted smartTV.
  • Further double bedroom with freestanding clothes rail, wall-mounted smartTV and a sea view.
  • Family bathroom with L-shaped bath and large shower over.

Top floor

  • Spacious lounge complete with stunning sea view and two sumptuous sofas and reading chair. Wall-mounted smartTV and sound system, plus board games to enjoy.
  • There’s also a desk and chair for an office with a view, plus the excellent wifi throughout the property makes this a fantastic place to work from if needed.


  • Immediate parking outside property for dropping things off.
  • Allocated parking space at St Ives R.F.C. approximately 15-20-minute walk.
  • Vitamyn Sea is exceptionally well located being a two minute walk from the Stennack Public Car Park with further additional public car parks of Barnoon Public Car Park (5 minute downhill walk) and Park Avenue Public Car Park being a similar distance.

St Ives is located in West Cornwall. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.

For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Godrevy, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!

One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.

The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!

When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.

St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).

Excellent Cornish Cottage in the centre of St Ives, but not on main street. Fully modernised and equipped to a very high standard. Close to all the amenities. Bonus a car parking space at the Rugby Club.

Just had a great weeks holiday in this stunning cottage, spotlessly clean and very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is. Tastefully furnished to a very high standard and an amazing view from the lounge picture window.

A stunning, modern, clean and comfortable house all round. The location was outstanding. A very short (2 minute) walk to the Town Centre. There were many shops within a few minutes walk to do a full food and general shop to stock up for our stay. There were also many bakeries and local cafes for us to enjoy in the morning which were all excellent. With the location being so central, there was access to all of the wonderful restaurants and bars that St Ives has to offer.

Will definitely be back!

We have just returned from a truly magical stay at this beautiful house. The outside courtyard area was excellent to relax and enjoy our morning coffee in the sun and as we were both working during our stay the excellent efficiency of the wifi throughout the property combined with the desk/study area made it the perfect location to also work from. The added bonus of only being a few minutes’ walk to the harbour meant we didn’t need to use the car once during our stay.

Having just spent 5 days in Vitamyn Sea St Ives, I thoroughly recommend this outstanding accommodation. Very roomy for 8 guests, really well equipped and beautifully clean and tidy on arrival. The large comfortable kitchen area is superb for family gathering and the upstairs lounge with an incredible view is just wonderful. All seating, sofas and beds are really comfy. Once the car was parked, we didn’t need it again during our stay as the location of the house is perfect for walking into the town or losing time walking the South coast paths.
