About
With Lusty Glaze to the west and Porth Beach to the north, Seascape is the fitting name for this stunning coastal retreat which sleeps six. Seascape sits above expansive golden sands of Porth Beach – as part of the Glendorgal Sands Resort – with views best appreciated from the large decking area, where the bay is at arm’s reach.
This beachfront home is spacious, light-filled and presents a relaxed and calming atmosphere. Boasting a contemporary design, guests will enjoy lavish touches throughout Seascape, ensuring it’ll be a holiday home to remember.
Split over two floors, the open-plan living space, is the hub of the home, which leads onto the impressive beach-facing decking. The well-equipped kitchen, inspired by its coastal location, with fully-fitted deep blue cabinets and chunky wooden worktop has everything you need. Take a few steps down and the corner dining table, offer plenty of space for six, while the lounge area boasts two large sofas and plush armchair. And for when guests tire of the view, there’s a wall-mounted Samsung Smart TV to enjoy your favourite shows.
Simply pull back the sliding door and embrace Seascape’s decking area, which is breathtakingly beautiful. Prepare to be enveloped by coastal views while sitting back on the sumptuous rattan sofa or the outdoor dining set, for when you fancy some al fresco dining. It is worth noting that due to the close proximity to the cliff, young children should be supervised outside at all times, as there is only a low wall between the deck and the edge.
Where sleeping is concerned, the master suite is the crème de la crème at the top of the house. The stylish panelled room comes complete with a lavish king-size bed, sliding doors leading to a Juliet balcony with stunning sea views, contemporary oval freestanding bath, and an additional separate ensuite, featuring a large freestanding shower. The second bedroom is also on the first floor with a twin set up, neutrally styled there’s plantation shutters and a modern ensuite attached.
The further third bedroom is on the ground floor and is double in size, also complete with plantation shutters. Guests will also appreciate the additional shower room on this level, contemporary in style and perfect for a post-surf rinse. There’s also a handy washing machine and tumble drier, for all your cleaning needs.
With all of Newquay’s beaches within easy reach, this dog-friendly property truly offers an enviable location, with superlative sea views. It’s worth noting that seasonal dog bans are in place at Porth Beach and Lusty Glaze, and that dogs must be supervised at all times due to the close proximity of a cliff edge. The property has its own private parking space, and you’re well placed at Seascape to embrace all that this surfer’s paradise has to offer, from its superb beaches to its fantastic foodie scene.

Activities
Seascape is a mile from Newquay town centre, while Porth Beach and Lusty Glaze are both on your doorstep. Porth is wide, open and family-friendly—ideal for paddling, swimming and relaxed beach time – while Lusty Glaze is a sheltered cove with a more tucked-away feel. When it’s time to refuel, you’re spoilt for choice: Lusty Glaze has its own beach bar and restaurant for laid-back meals with sea views, and the surrounding area is dotted with cafés and casual eateries for everything from a quick coffee to a hearty post-beach bite.
Newquay as a whole is renowned for its beaches – clean, lively and often filled with surfers, as it’s a true surfing hotspot. Towan, Tolcarne and Great Western are popular for swimming thanks to their more sheltered feel, while Fistral Beach is the headline act for world-class waves. If you fancy something wind-powered, Watergate Bay is a great option for kitesurfing and windsurfing, and there are plenty of other activities to try too, including kayaking, coasteering and surf rafting. For a quieter escape, Polly Joke is well worth seeking out: a beautiful, less-busy cove that feels removed from the main action, especially striking in spring when the surrounding cliffs glow with red poppies.
Beyond the sand, there are lovely walks to enjoy, from dramatic stretches of the South West Coast Path to calmer spots like The Japanese Garden with its bonsai, pagodas and ponds. Trenance Gardens is another great choice for a slower day out.
Families will also find plenty to do, including Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium with its impressive shark tunnel – ideal when the weather turns. If you’re craving a little indulgence, a spa session at Fistral Spa or the Headland Spa makes a perfect treat.
And for day trips, you’re well placed to explore further afield too. Padstow is within easy reach and makes a fantastic outing for harbour strolls and excellent food, adding another great option to your coastal break.

What a beautiful place! The pictures do not do it justice!
We had a wonderful stay here with our family and would definitely recommend to others. The house is cosy and cute, but has all amenities that you would need. It is beautifully decorated and the master suite is stunning. The best thing about it is the view from the living area and the main bedroom….would happily wake up to this view every day! We will definitely be booking this place again if we are in Cornwall again. Highly recommend!

We wanted a place with the best possible view and this place did not disappoint!
The views are absolutely stunning and you can just sit out on the porch and enjoy them! The amenities also felt like a luxury vacation, clean and beautiful space.

We particularly liked the welcome gift, how well equipped the kitchen was, the fabulously powerful showers, great quality bed linen, towels and blankets!
The cottage was amazing and beautifully furnished and decorated in a stunning location.

We had an amazing stay at Seascape and will miss sleeping to the sound of the waves. We don't usually stay at the same property but we would definitely stay here again.
The property over looks the beach and there are some pleasant walks down to the beach and towards the town.
