A trip to Newquay Zoo is a must, situated about a mile from Newquay centre. Along with 100s of animals to discover, a Tarzan Trail and play area, there are daily animal talks led by the zoo rangers where you can learn amazing facts about the species living at Newquay Zoo.
Home to over 130 species of some of the world’s most rare and endangered animals, visitors will get the chance to see incredible species up close, while supporting the zoo to protect them for the future with its vital wildlife conservation work.
When hunger strikes head to Café Lemur, which offers family favourites such as pizzas and burgers, salads, sandwiches, children’s picnic boxes, as well hot beverages and refreshing cold drinks.
Parking nearby can be an issue (and expensive) so walk there if you can, or catch the land train from Newquay Town Centre. Booking online is advised for best price.
