Sam’s On The Beach, Polkerris, Par

Date Posted: 24 Jun 2020

150 years ago, Sam’s on the Beach was an old boat house and slipway that became a RNLI lifeboat station. What a history. Anyone who knows Cornwall will know the RNLI is deeply loved here, for obvious reasons.

On warm summery days, the windows at Sam’s are fully opened or removed to give you an al fresco dining experience with exceptional views. A chilled-out place to eat and drink, with a Balearic vibe, makes you loosen up and unwind.

Sam’s is mindful of its amazing history, feeling it adds a certain Feng Shui to the bistro, which has a relaxed ambience. Great food, attentive staff and friendly atmosphere combine to create a real holiday feel.

Try their hard-to-beat artisan slices of pizza from their custom-built wood-burning pizza oven, or their exceptional seafood right from the ocean in front of you. Heavenly sunsets, too.
