Coombe Barton Inn, Crackington Haven

Date Posted: 2 Aug 2020

There is always a warm welcome to be found at the cosy but stylish Coombe Barton Inn nestled down in the seaside village of Crackington Haven, a beautiful setting.

Using seasonal local produce cooked with flair, the menu here changes according to the seasonal availability of fish, vegetables and well-reared local meats.

With two chefs, Glyn and Celi, cuisine tends towards Cornish but offered with a global twist. Home-cooked, the food changes according to seasonality and availability, but there are always tasty options with intriguing favours. So, here, you will find traditional fish and chips sitting comfortably next to a Middle Eastern Mezze Plate.

Menus are printed daily and there are blackboard specials. Quality and quantity are both part of the dining experience in this charming resort nestled around the surfing beach. Food is freshly prepared/cooked (no fast food here) with a number of vegetarian options, so there is something to suit all tastes.

The inn, with its warm, friendly atmosphere, is situated in a fantastic spot to enjoy a beer or glass of fine wine while watching the rolling waves.

Dogs are very welcome here, where there is plenty of seating for you, with your four-legged friend at your side, looking out to sea. A fine place to enjoy a drink with a view.
