The Yurt village offers four spectacular interior designed medium and large sized Yurts. The village itself provides self catering facilities which are exclusive to our Yurt guests. So whether you book one or all of the Yurts, everything is provided, just bring your holiday gear, food and drink.
A beautiful double bed sits on carefully sourced wooden flooring with ample additional comfy seating. (Sofa and occassional beds can be provided in our large Yurts accommodating up to 4 people.) Sumptuous egyptian cotton bedding and a bath and hand towel each is included in the price of your stay. For warm and cosy evenings, the ultimate of camping indulgences comes in the form of a log burner in each Yurt complete with stove kettle and some kiln dried wood to get you started. A cooler box will be provided in each Yurt to keep the breakfast essentials cool as well as a TV, DVD and Wi-Fi for further added luxury!
The village has been tastefully landscaped with winding paths, chestnut fencing, fruiting hedgerows and a mixture of glorious sympathetic planting. Cypress trees, grasses and beautifully planted areas provide a wealth of natural textures against the stunning Yurt village landscape. Each Yurt will have access to planters and borders with a selection of vegtables and salads for you to use.
A traditionally built clay oven has been provided exclusively for our Yurt guests´ use. So, whilst out and about exploring Cornwall, your supper slowly cooks ready for your return. Perfect! To top it off the clay oven is located on a large decked viewing platform with ample table and chairs to dine the night away. A perfect place to watch the sun go down and relax with friends

The village ‘cookhouse’
Here you will find every utensil you need to prepare a three course feast or alfresco snack. Each Yurt has its own individual secure food storage cupboard within the cookhouse and unlimited use of a communal refrigerator, freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, sink and hob. (Please note that there are extra kettles and microwaves available to use in your own Yurt, just let us know when you book.) We´ve even remembered the tea towels and washing up liquid for you! A ‘wash house’ will cater for your every laundry requirement, having a washing machine/dryer at your disposal. Outside racks for drying are also available for guests to use. A large communal dining table seating 12 takes centre stage in the cookhouse, but social dining is not obligatory as each Yurt has its own small table for more intimate dining.
The ´Communal´ Yurt
If you like socialising then you’ll love the large communal Yurt with its comfortable sofas and beanbags, complete with drinks fridge, large flatscreen television and a selection of board games and books to while away the evenings.
The ‘Shepherd Huts’ (or washrooms)
The huts comprise of shower, toilet and wash basin to one and toilets and washbasins in the other. A further shower/wetroom is located near the cookhouse, plus an additional outdoor shower. A gorgeous rustic outdoor tub, gently heated by a log burner provides the option of a warm relaxing soak.
Even with all this, the Yurt village guests still have use of all the on-site facilities including kiddies play area and outdoor pool. Use of the indoor pool, games room and cafe.
