A stunning beach retreat overlooking Portreath Beach
Offering a truly luxurious stay, Tamarisk is a heavenly retreat sleeping eight. A spacious property which has been thoughtfully renovated to create the perfect holiday home, it benefits from an elevated position, affording west-facing views of Portreath and beyond. It also provides an abundance of natural light which floods the house thanks to the numerous floor-to-ceiling windows.
Packed with glistening sunshine and light, this spectacular, spacious property has west-facing views from on high. Look through over the rooftops towards the inviting sea and picture-postcard coastline at Portreath.
Tamarisk has been thoughtfully designed to best appreciate its stunning outlook, with the hub of the home – the impressive kitchen/living/diner – located on the first floor to soak up the views. The contemporary well-equipped kitchen is flooded with natural light, and offers a fantastic cooking experience, with its premium appliances including SMEG double induction range cooker and integrated Neff products, plus plenty of space to cook up a storm. Diners can choose between the relaxed breakfast bar space complete with four bar stools, the Scandinavian inspired dining table which comfortably seats eight, or eat al fresco on the large terrace. You may even choose to cook outside too, with the electric Ninja BBQ, which can grill, smoke, air fry and more, while guests kick back on the garden furniture enveloped by the stunning coastal scenery beyond.
From the terrace you can also access the first floor living area, which has an equally striking seascape. Relax with a book on the sumptuous corner sofa or lavish leather swivel chair. In the colder months enjoy the dramatic sea beyond, while keeping cosy next to the LED electric fireplace, and if you tire of the view, there’s a wall-mounted 50’’ smartTV, fully loaded with Sky TV, for guests to enjoy.
Prepare to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves, with three prolific king-size ensuite rooms, all boasting sea views. There’s an additional fourth bedroom, which is a generously sized twin, this and bedroom three are situated on the first floor. As is the modern family bathroom, with its luxurious double-ended bathtub and large freestanding shower. The two bedrooms on the ground floor also boast direct access to the front of the house where guests will find a sensational hot tub.
Space really is abundant at Tamarisk, as there’s also an additional living room downstairs; while away the hours in the gorgeous window seat, or sit back and enjoy a film or Sky Sports with the 50” smartTV. Practicality hasn’t been overlooked either, with useful touches such as the utility room complete with washer, dryer and extra fridge, or the outdoor shower to wash away a day at the beach.
Portreath’s stunning beach and harbour is a downhill stroll via a steep private footpath, just a short stroll away making it a wonderful beach retreat. The beautiful views here are captivating, looking out towards the iconic Gull Rock, the mesmerising sunsets will ensure it’s a holiday to remember.
