Luxury house with spectacular views to St Michael's Mount

For those seeking a coastal retreat with stunning views, Bosworgy Bay is the ideal Cornish holiday home; a perfect escape for a romantic weekend away or a break with a small group.

Your own private terrace commands beautiful views out to St Michael’s Mount, where you can sit and watch the sun dip down across the water with a glass of wine at your side, before the sky puts on a spectacular display of stars on a clear night.

After a late evening of stargazing, your custom built kitchen is the perfect place to prepare a decadent breakfast and pour yourself a coffee from your Nespresso machine in the morning, before heading out to explore the area.

There is so much to see and do around Marazion that you will appreciate returning home to your cozy bolthole, to take a long hot shower in your luxurious bathroom.  This property has underfloor heating throughout, so you will never get cold toes and will always be toasty warm.

When you can’t keep your eyes open any more, sink into your kingsize bed and top quality bed linen for a good night’s sleep.  Though this property has one bedroom, it can sleep another guest over 12 years old on the single sofa bed in the living room.

Marazion is situated on the south coast of Cornwall and is the gateway to the tidal island of St Michael’s Mount.  Follow the path of the ancient pilgrims by walking the stone and cobbled path across Mount’s Bay to reach the island, or at high tide that is a ferry that will take you out and bring you back.

There are lots of water based activities for the energetic including windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing and sailing.  On Chapel Rock and Marazion harbour, there are numerous rock pools to explore and above the beach there is a large park for the little ones to enjoy.

The South West coast path offers up outstanding views in this part of Cornwall.  Sherpa expeditions provide guided and self guided walks (and cycling routes) and the beautiful St Michael’s Way is an ancient path that starts at St Ives, slightly further north and finishes on St Michael’s Mount.

The shopper in you will love the individuality of the local traders, there are no chains here.  Specialising in their own unique goods they include The Rigging where you can pad out your existing wardrobe, Summerhouse Gallery to add to your art collection, Silver Origins for jewellery pieces, Boylan Ceramics and Pisky Cove for a range of specialist assorted gifts.

After all that shopping you will be in need of some refreshment!  Marazion offers up a large range of tempting places to eat.  The Godolphin Arms boasts outstanding views over Marazion beach and The Copper Spoon is known for its seasonal vegetarian platters.  The Rosario Tea Rooms specialise in mouth watering crab sandwiches and cream teas, while The Mount Haven Restaurant take pride in the outstanding local produce they use.

There is so much to do here, but if you wish to venture a little further afield then Prussia Cove and Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens are well worth a visit. Also, the artist town of St Ives is a relatively short drive north, where you can visit the Tate St Ives, indulge in a spot more shopping and admire the pretty backstreets.  Lucky visitors might also catch a glimpse of the harbour seals.
