Situated in the prestigious The Sands Apartments development, Wingspan is only a few minutes’ walk to Carbis Bay Blue Flag beach, and 2 minutes to the local railway station (which takes you into St Ives and connects to the mainline), so its location is rather special.

Sleeping 4, this bright and airy apartment has fantastic sea views and its elevated viewpoint provides unparalleled, uninterrupted views towards St Ives. An apartment with contemporary styling enveloped by Cornish views, makes this a luxury choice for your holiday, set close to the scenic South West Coast Path.

The open-plan living space has the wow-factor with floor to ceiling window sea views to enjoy from the kitchen, dining table and sumptuous large sofa. There’s plenty of space to kick back and lose yourself in the scenery. If you tire of the view there’s a SmartTV with Netflix and a Sonos bluetooth speaker to enjoy, alongside an array of board games and books.

The modern kitchen is well equipped for all of your cooking needs. Complete with a breakfast bar, Nespresso coffee machine, Dualit toaster and kettle and a microwave. There’s a large range of kitchen utensils, tableware and glassware, plus a built-in dishwasher. This open-plan area is perfect for relaxed evenings in as the dining table comfortably seats six but there are also plenty of additional seated areas to unwind.

The living space leads to a stunning balcony with stretching views of the bay across to St Ives, and is equipped with a table and comfy chairs.

One allocated parking space is provided within the private gated car park and additional public parking is available nearby. Guests can also enjoy the shared landscaped sub-tropical gardens at The Sands Apartments development.

The best place to start is on the palm-fringed sandy beach Carbis Bay, with its blue flag water quality, seasonal lifeguards, low-tide rock-pooling and excellent beachside facilities. Offering a plethora of water sports for the whole family an ocean-side spa and sea view dining options.

St Ives is an easy 30-minute walk along the South West Coast Path, or 5 minutes on the coastal railway from the buzzing town and beaches. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.

One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.

The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!

When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.

For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… St Ives Harbour Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!

St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).

Booking fee:  There is a non-refundable booking fee of £28 per booking

Damage deposit:  A refundable damage deposit of £300 is payable.  This will be held until the end of the occupancy and will be returned to the guest within 2 weeks of departure, subject to deductions for any damage to property caused during the occupancy.
