Beautiful and modern apartment in the heart of St Ives

The Poop Deck is a spacious, bright and airy modern apartment. The property’s open plan layout and large windows offer great views of the renowned harbour and beach, whilst filling the living area with light. There’s direct access to a private covered balcony where panoramic sea views can be enjoyed. At the front of the apartment, you’ll find the master bedroom, with french doors leading to the balcony. It has its own ensuite shower room with a statement frosted glass door, large built in wardrobe and dressing table with mirror.

The second bedroom caters to all guests needs due to the flexibility of the zip/lock bed. This can be arranged to be two single beds or converted into a king size bed on request. The third bedroom provides two single beds via a hand built fitted bunk bed set up. In between these bedrooms lies the family bathroom with shower over bath facilities, wash basin, LED light mirror and WC.

The Poop Deck’s open plan living space provides the perfect place to relax, socialise, eat and drink. It has been stylishly furnished with a large sofa, arm chair, flat screen smart TV and sound system. The well equipped kitchen offers everything you should need during your stay including fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and an electric hob and oven.

The living area is completed with a beautiful blue coloured glass table with ample seating for six and two armchairs in the bay window looking out over the wharf. Guests also have access to a small shed full of beach items and an outdoor shower perfect for use after a seaside trip. The Poop Deck also offers one private parking space situated in a secure garage car park on Bedford Road.

St Ives is located in West Cornwall. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.

For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Godrevy, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!

One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.

The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!

When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.

St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).
