Situated in a very special position, Serena overlooks Carbis Bay with its golden sand and turquoise sea, yet just minutes from the busy picturesque harbour and town of St Ives.

Serena is a luxury holiday apartment sleeping six; a first-floor duplex penthouse apartment guests can enjoy unrivalled sea and beach views. With its perfect beachfront location, Serena makes an ideal romantic getaway for couples all year round, or a base for a family beach holiday.

Located within a unique gated development of 27 apartments and two houses, Serena is one of the most luxurious in this development, with superb attention to detail. The apartment also comes with its own reserved car parking space.

Guests are spoilt for choice with far-reaching views. Choose to relax on the glorious balcony as you enjoy your breakfast or morning coffee, or perhaps you’d rather unwind in the stunning upper floor bedroom suite?

The spacious open-plan lounge and dining area benefits from sea views. With a plush leather sofa, when you tire of the view, there’s plenty to watch on the 55″ Sony Android UHD TV and Bose TV sound system, with Sky Business Ultimate package including Sports and Cinema. There’s a convenient serving hatch between the kitchen and living room, which provides sea views whilst in the well-equipped kitchen.

There are three spacious bedrooms, all boasting luxury The White Company bedding and sumptuous Hypnos Ortho mattresses. The impressive master bedroom suite is complete with a super-king bed, living area, panoramic beach views, 65-inch TV, kitchenette with fridge, sink and tea making facilities, and ensuite with freestanding bath. The second bedroom features a king-size bed and 49-inch TV, while the further twin bedroom is an ensuite with a bath with shower over, has glorious sea views and 55-inch TV. The family bathroom also features a lavish steam shower.

Carbis Bay is a fantastic base for touring the far south west of Cornwall; a landscape of white sandy beaches, azure seas, sub-tropical flowers, unusual birds and stunning coastal walks on the renowned south west coast path. Located in a premier position above Carbis Bay beach, with uninterrupted views across the beach over to St Ives and a short walk along a private pathway through landscaped gardens down to the beach, Serena is a haven for the most discerning of visitors.

 

Facilities:

  • In the sea view living room there is a 55″ Sony Android UHD TV and Bose TV sound system, with Sky Business Ultimate package including Sports and Cinema and a Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Wireless speaker. There’s a large luxurious cream Italian leather sofa and  double doors which lead onto a balcony, from where you can sit and take in the sweeping vista of the bay. There’s a Nikon gas filled anti-fog binoculars are also provided for you to enjoy.
  • Comfortably seating six guests, the large oak dining table with offers a central location for family and friends to gather and enjoy their meals. An archway connecting it to the kitchen ensures that no chef needs to be left out of socialising with family and friends whilst in the kitchen.
  • Fully-equipped kitchen with an extensive range of high quality kitchen appliances and designer cookware and tableware including items from Joseph Joseph, Le Creuset and Robert Welch. There’s an eye level Bosch triple oven (including microwave). A large high level integrated Bosch fridge and separate integrated Bosch high level frost-free freezer and Dolce Gusto machine.
  • Laundry area with a Bosch integrated washing machine and separate vented integrated tumble dryer.
  • All bedrooms feature The White Company 400 thread Egyptian cotton bedlinen and towels and Hypnos Ortho mattresses, large smart UHD TVs and a Bose bluetooth speaker.
  • The superb open plan 34 feet long master suite, complete with living area, kitchenette with fridge, sink and tea making facilities, and an ensuite with freestanding bath, offers the ultimate in luxury. Three giant Velux windows provide expansive views across the Bay and allow natural light to flood the room. The master bedroom has a 65″smart Panasonic UHD TV.
  • King size bedroom has a 49’’ Sony Android UHD TV, ample storage with a single mirrored wardrobe, three drawer dressing table with vanity mirror and stool, two drawer bedside table.
  • The twin bedroom has a sea view, and luxurious ensuite which features two showers over the bath (one being  a rain shower), toilet and heated towel rail. There’s a door leading on to the main balcony and a 55″ Sony Android UHD TV.
  • The luxurious family shower room features a steam cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.
  • There is one allocated car parking space and the whole of this exclusive development is set back within electronic security gates.

St Ives is located in western Cornwall. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.

One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.

The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!

When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.

For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… St Ives Harbour Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!

St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).
