Surrounded by four award- winning beaches, St Ives enjoys beautiful golden sands and crystal blue waters offering stunning seaside vistas from every corner.
Overlooking the charming Porthgwidden Beach, Sands Studio is ideally situated to enjoy the many cafés and restaurants the town has to offer. Not to mention the numerous art galleries, workshops and studios worth visiting that are scattered amongst the delightful streets and alleyways of the town.

The festival always runs through the middle two weeks of September with a huge variety of musical performances: “jazz, blues, folk sessions, classical concerts and arts events: gallery exhibitions ‘open days’ when local artists open their studios to the public, talks, lectures, poetry readings and workshops.” – source St Ives official tourism site.

Samphire Studio is quite simply superb. The studio transmits a tranquil and calming ambiance, ideal for a recuperative stay. Studio doesn't do this place justice. It is more like a beautiful roomy ground floor apartment with inspiring garden, perfect for a sheltered sun kissed morning coffee.
The apartment is wonderful; it is equipped with everything you need and more! The hosts were very helpful and were very quick to answer any queries. The apartment is literally a 30 second walk from our favourite Porthgwidden beach.
