Boutique Beach House in St Ives
Tresillian is a stunning six-bedroom holiday house with amazing views over St Ives’ award-winning Porthmeor Beach. With everything you need and more for a wonderful holiday, this luxury self-catering property is ideally located on St Ives’ most desirable road. Perched just above the beach which is a one-minute stroll away, Tresillian is also close to the centre of beautiful St Ives, with all its shops and restaurants.
Sleeping up to 12, there are three king-size rooms, two twins and a child’s room with a bunk bed. The master suite boasts a super king bed, freestanding bath and a sea-view balcony. There are three additional contemporary bathrooms, two of which are ensuite shower rooms, plus a large family bathroom with bath and freestanding shower.
There’s a stylish lounge complete with log burning stove, plus an additional snug space with wall-mounted TV and Xbox. The contemporary kitchen comes well equipped and there’s a large dining table which comfortably seats 12.
Designed to make your stay a holiday to remember, Tresillian is a luxurious stay. Boutique in style because it has many of the qualities of a hotel, but with the ease and relaxation of self-catering. The house has a range of indoor and outdoor entertainment for kids of all ages and is ideal for families. There are also two parking spaces and a large garden – complete with Pirate ship climbing frame BBQ, fire pit, dining table, sofa and a summer house.

St Ives is located in West Cornwall. There is plenty to do in St Ives and it is a fantastic location if you plan on exploring a little further afield too.
For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Godrevy, Porthkidney Beach or Carbis Bay to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!
One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.
The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!
When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.
St Ives sits at the bottom of the A30, so if you are looking to explore more of the Cornwall coast, then this is a great base and you can book ferries for day trips to the Scilly Isles from Penzance (only a 20 minute drive away).
