Hot Tub Health Benefits
The caress of hot water and bubbles makes a wonderful start or end to the day, particularly in the privacy of your own accommodation. Time spent in a hot tub creates a sanctuary from day-to-day stresses, but did you know that using them has proven health benefits, too?
Whether it’s muscular aches after a strenuous walk on the beach or coast path, or from using new muscles trying out surfing or bodyboarding, a soak in your hot tub is just the ticket. You’ll reach new relaxation levels as the warm water relieves tired muscles, improves circulation, and induces better-quality sleep. Raising your body temperature relaxes your muscles, making it so much easier to sleep beautifully in your super-comfy bed in your Cornish Secrets holiday home.
Hot tubs don’t just relax you physically, they calm your mind too. Reducing stress and anxiety, time spent submerged in the soothing warm water will encourage you to take a deep breath and switch off from everyday life.
How We Care For Our Hot Tubs
As with all of our Cornish Secrets properties, we ensure that when guests arrive at their hot tub cottage, everything has been cleaned to the highest of standards. Special maintenance is put in place to ensure the hygiene of our hot tub properties, in line with HSG282 regulations for hot tubs in holiday lets and commercial environments. This includes fresh, new water for each set of new guests.
Hot tub maintenance and cleaning is undertaken at each changeover, we use both specialist companies and BISHTA (The British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association) trained cleaners to carry out each clean, so that our hot tubs are safe for the next users.
Relaxing Evenings in Your Hot Tub
There’s something quite special about unwinding in a hot tub during the evening, under the stars with the sounds of the ocean beyond. Cornwall’s skies are fabulous, and you’ll see some fantastic stars, with less light pollution here.
One of the best bits about a hot tub is that it can be used all-year round, offering a different experience in each season. Whether that’s warming up on a crisp winter evening, or finding tranquility at the end of a hot summer’s day.
