Padstow holidays are always a good idea. With plenty to do for all ages, and four-legged friends too, you’ll never be short of things to do here. We have a wonderful collection of dog-friendly properties in Padstow, perfectly situated to explore the area with your pet.
Many of Padstow’s dog-friendly beaches can be reached via South West Coast Path, and furry friends are welcomed along the whole stretch (that’s a mega 640 miles), providing they are always kept in sight; away from cliff edges, and on a lead around livestock.
During the summer there’s plenty of alfresco spots to enjoy a meal with your dog, we recommend heading to The Lobster Shed at Harlyn Bay, three miles outside of Padstow.
Our dog-friendly cottages in Padstow will ensure the best holiday for everyone. Most popular options for canines and their owners include Kendra, which is located in the heart of Padstow and less than a ten-minute stroll to the South West Coast Path. Up to two dogs can stay at Peacehay Barn, which has generous gardens for dogs to enjoy.
Looking for where to visit with your dog in and around pretty Padstow? If it’s golden sand, and shallow water for a doggy paddle you’re after then it has to be nearby Harbour Cove is less than two miles away via the coast path. Or nearby, National Trust’s Trevose Head is a ‘two pawprint’ rated place for dog walks, and the scenery is just epic.
For a traditional Cornish pub, try The Shipwrights who are very happy to host you and your dog. It’s a beautiful traditional brick built pub on the far side of the harbour, and your pooch can even be treated to a pint of its dog beer, Proper Dog! Or no trip to Padstow is complete without visiting one of Rick Stein’s restaurants… his French outpost St Petroc’s Bistro welcomes dogs outside and in the bar area.

Most of our dog-friendly properties will accept two well behaved dogs and add-on fees start at just £35 per week, per dog.
