Newquay undoubtedly has some of the greatest beaches in the world and the best bit is they’re dog-friendly all-year round, too. There’s also plenty of scenic paths to go walkies, and a cheerful holiday atmosphere here. Our collection of dog-friendly cottages are perfectly situated to explore the area with your pet.
Newquay is a dog-friendly town, and many of the beaches allow dogs all-year round, which isn’t always the case with Cornwall beaches. And with a big focus on alfresco eating here, many of Newquay’s restaurants, such as The Boathouse on Newquay Harbour and The Fish House at Fistral Beach will welcome your four-legged friend, too.
Our dog-friendly cottages in Newquay will ensure the best holiday for everyone. Most popular options for canines and their owners include Seascape, which is moments from Lusty Glaze Beach where dogs are welcome all year round. A little further afield near Mawgan Porth is Hay House, where up to two dogs can stay, which has generous gardens for dogs to enjoy.
Looking for where to visit with your dog in and around Newquay? Prepare to be spoilt with dog-friendly beaches, probably more than anywhere else in Cornwall. Central beaches are Towan Beach, Great Western Beach and Newquay Harbour, while the most famed beaches, Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay also happen to be dog friendly  all-year round.
For something a little different, the Lappa Steam Valley Railway attraction welcome four-legged friends. While they must be kept on a lead, there are water bowls dotted about and at the large field at the top of the valley you can let them run off the lead.
