Set within the dunes of Gwithian and Godrevy, The Rockpool , with its breath-taking views, really appeals to walkers with a touch of the nomad in their souls. Set close to dramatic National Trust protected coastline, seafood and burgers are key components of the menu here.
The menu is inspired by local customers, an eclectic mix of people, but also by the thunderous waves, and the incredible natural surroundings, as it truly is right on the coast. Beach walkers, storm watchers, and seal aficionados will all love this spot.
Food ingredients are sourced ethically, sustainably and locally, as you might expect. Check out the soups and salads, with vegetarians and vegans well catered for. Light bites and larger options are available with a kiddies menu, too.
Surfers of all abilities love the adjacent beach, with the Gwithian Surf Academy right next door. It’s also a popular spot for music gigs. Staff are friendly, the location is lush, and you can also take your dog in (on a lead, please).
Spend the day on the beach here, then stay for a sunset! It’s really something special.
