The Grapes, Falmouth

Date Posted: 24 Jun 2020

For a dog-friendly eating experience, check out The Grapes alehouse at Falmouth. The Grapes was founded in the 1700s on Fish Strand Quay, the first port of call for seafarers.

Now, an independent family-run pub in the heart of the town, it overlooks the fabulous Fal estuary, so be sure to check out the panoramic views out to the water.

Priding itself on locally-sourced, home-made food, you will find fish from St Ives and Cornish beef in the Sunday roasts and burgers, and the pub prides itself on serving freshly cut and cooked chips from the finest Cornish potatoes.

Cornish ales and ciders accompany the tasty food. Welcoming well-behaved four-legged friends, water will be available and there might even be a doggy biscuit in the offering.
