It doesn’t get much sweeter than The Cornish Cove tearoom in Port Isaac. Situated on Fore Street, this idyllic cafe is just the spot for a traditional cream tea, or grab one to go and head down to the harbour and enjoy with a view – a must when in Cornwall.
If you’re looking for something savoury, their lunch menu isn’t short of options either. As to be expected there’s a traditional steak or cheese and onion pasties, and other pastry delights such as tasty sausage rolls and cakes – also of the vegan variety.
If you’re a seafood lover, you may be tempted by their crab sandwiches or prawn salad bowls. Or perhaps, you simply a cup of Cornish Cornico coffee, Cornish tea or a creamy milkshake is in order. Seating is somewhat limited at The Cornish Cove (dogs are welcome too), and during peak times you’ll be lucky to find a seat, but they do also offer a fantastic takeaway service… and hey, what better place for a picnic!
