A free house with real cask ales, this friendly inn is located next to Bude Canal. The Brendon Arms (or The Brendon, as locals call it) has a lovely outside seating area for sunny days, brilliant to sit for a cool drink with your dog after a wonderful walk on the beach or along the adjacent canal footpath.
Food is traditional pub food with homemade dishes using, when available, local and seasonal produce.
It is also a sports focused pub broadcasting the big events on Sky and BT Sport, one of the most popular places to see televised sport (shown inside and out) in Bude. So your holiday does not mean you have to miss a big match.
Again, your dog is welcome to join you in the public bar (where you can buy bar snacks) or the beer garden as you cheer on your team while partaking of the food and drink.
Owned and run by the Brendon family of Bude since 1872, the pub is in a prime position and boasts a warm family welcome which includes your doggie pals.
