This multi-award-winning quintessentially English tea shop offers over 50 types of tea and infusions including some locally-grown. There are also three blends of coffee. Good to see tea so high on the agenda.
Along with the beverages, there are gorgeous traditional cream teas (scones warmed or not as you prefer) and divine cakes.
Gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free options are available, along with a choice of milks, including non-dairy, at no extra cost.
They also offer a deluxe vegan hot chocolate with (hard to get hold of) vegan marshmallows, which is going the extra mile in our book. For the more sensible (or hungry) there is also an array of superb sandwiches on offer.
Is it dog-friendly? You bet! According to this blog, towels and blankets were provided for soggy dogs, and dog-friendly food and drink was available. It became quite a doggy party in there …
