If extreme sports is for you, then Shoreline Extreme is worth a good look, because they really do maximise the potential of the amazing North Cornish scenery in their wide array of activities, which will drive forward your love of real adventure.
Much of what they do is Bude based but they are also to be found on the granite tors of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, or riding the white waters of the rivers of Cornwall and Devon.
This leading surf kayaking centre (co-owned by coach, former World champion Surf Kayaker and Outdoor Pursuits Professional, Simon Hammond) runs half and full day sea kayaking expeditions, all expertly led by experienced coaches. They also use the local river and canal in Bude. Further afield, they use the River Dart known for dramatic white-water challenges.
Along with water sports, Shoreline offers inland options such as rock climbing, abseiling and archery. They use the cliffs at Bude to teach introductory climbing and abseiling, but also tackle the challenging, steep options on the moors. They have a dedicated abseil site just north of Crooklets beach offering a 120ft abseil down the cliff face.
