If your holiday is not a real break without your canine companion, take a deep breath and relax, because Perranporth Beach is just one of the many pet-friendly open spaces along this section of heritage coastline in North Cornwall.
Your four-legged friend is very welcome here, with nearby pubs, shops and cafes also dog-friendly.
Perranporth beach is not only surfing heaven, but also doggie paradise all year round, with three miles of open space, sand dunes, rock pools and lovely waves to play in, one of the largest stretches of unbroken sand available.
The south end of the beach, nearest to the village has a ‘dogs only on leads’ restriction in the busiest months from 10 am – 5 pm in July and August, but there are still sand dunes and the rest of the beach (beyond the flat rocks) where they are free to play, and all the beach is accessible outside those key times.
This beach is fun for all the family, including the four-legged members, with plenty of facilities nearby.
