While it’s hard to beat Newquay beaches, with Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay all on your doorstep, Newquay waterparks offer something different. Whether you just fancy a day away from the beach, are looking for a rainy day activity, or just searching for an adrenaline fix, fear not, Newquay waterpark options make a decent splash, too. Newquay Leisure World

Formerly known as Waterworld Newquay, a trip to Newquay Leisure World is not to be missed. Ran by charitable social enterprise Better, this Newquay waterpark’s leisure pool is a child’s paradise with plenty of water features and flumes to enjoy. Kids will love the bubbly volcano, happy hippo flume, the extreme orange flume, tippety toppety bucket, sally the slow snake and sammy the spitting snake.

 Newquay Leisure World is also home to a 25-metre swimming, an interactive trampoline park and well-equipped soft play, as well as fitness studios and gym.

Oasis Fun Pools

A Newquay waterpark which promises plenty of splashing fun is The Oasis Fun Pools. Just two miles outside of the centre of  Newquay, there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy, whatever the weather! There’s an indoor pool with a baby and toddler pool, a river rapid ride, water cannon and geyser for a real soaking, plus a giant tap, fountains and waterfalls, too…

If that wasn’t enough, there are three fabulous water flumes…  The fast and furious high speed aqua whiz flume, the exciting wet and wild 265ft super flume, and a gentle fun slide!

Retallack

Just 9 miles from Newquay, Retallack Aqua Park offers something completely different, and makes for the perfect rainy day out for competitive families. And there’s plenty to get stuck into.

Surf the perfect wave whatever the weather on Cornwall’s only FlowRider. With safe and easy to ride waves, it’s the perfect set to learn to surf in safe surroundings without braving the sea on a rainy day. Or perhaps you fancy tackling the inflatable assault course. The Aqua Park at Retallack features separate inflated islands, giant trampoline, ‘stepping stone’ climbing obstacles, tough balance beams and lots more. The race is on with a ‘total wipeout’ style set up.

There’s also an inflatable volleyball court on the watersports lake. This court will have you and your opponents bouncing, slipping, and sliding as you battle it out. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also SUP and wakeboarding to try your hand at too. This waterpark near Newquay is jam-packed with fun.

Giant Slip and Slide

A waterpark near Newquay is Giant Slip and Slide, which is located just 9 miles away at St Columb Major. Launching in 2021, and proving a popular hit with locals and visitors alike, Giant Slip and Slide promises bucket loads of fun.

The slide is a whopping 440ft long with a 3m high launch ramp and there are four lanes in total. The safety team provide inflatable hoops, rings and super-fast bodyboards for you to enjoy. The perfect way to cool down on a hot summer’s day, while providing a super-soaked adrenaline rush.
