Award-winning chef and MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist Andrew Durham launches a new Supper Club in Newquay

BBC Two’s 2019 MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist chef Andrew Durham has opened a twelvecover restaurant in Prow Park, Newquay, just in time for 2022’s summer season.

After a successful two years at nearby Porth Beach Hotel, chef Andrew has joined what’s already fast becoming a foodie destination at Prow Park – a business park just over a mile from Newquay’s town centre.

Set in converted shipping container, Hartley’s – named after Andrew’s son – offers diners a unique gastronomic experience with one set tasting menu. The Supper Club concept consists of nine delicious dishes costing £75pp. With a contemporary, industrial style, you’ll get to see the chef in action with the open kitchen set up – promising an intimate and interactive experience.

But what can you expect to see on the menu? Those familiar with BBC Two’s MasterChef: The Professionals may recognise some of the dishes on the creative set menu, including his Tom Yam Nam Sai which was a huge hit with the judges back in 2019. Enjoy beautifully crafted, bright and creative dishes packed with bold flavours and using only the best local, sustainable and seasonal produce.

Opening on 4 August 2022, Hartley’s is open Tuesday to Saturday. As the venue is intimate, availability is limited, therefore early booking is advised and prepayment is required.
